How to Receive SMS Text Message Alerts in Outlook

Microsoft Tips

With emailing being one of the most common ways of communicating and being used daily within organisations, it can be easy to get lost amongst full inboxes and miss those all-important emails.

With the help of SMS text message notifications in Outlook 365, you can send alerts straight to your mobile phone device, notifying you when an email has been received by a recipient selected by you.

By adjusting rules within your email settings and selecting a set of actions using the ‘Advanced Options’, you can set particular rules that Outlook will automatically perform.

In this video, we show you a simple strategy to receive an SMS text message when an important email from a selected recipient lands in a Microsoft Outlook inbox. Never again will you miss an urgent message that requires your attention straight away as a text message is sent straight to your chosen mobile number.

Microsoft Outlook is great for businesses who are looking to streamline their communications and productivity. With smart features such as contact groups, rules, alerts and more, Outlook is designed to keep your team organised and connected.
