Tier 2 Technical Support Engineer

The Tier 2 Technical Support Engineer role is responsible for providing 1st & 2nd line support remotely to our customers, as well as acting as a point of escalation for Tier 1 Technical Support Engineers.

You will fix what you can and escalate more complex issues to the relevant support channels within the Service Desk following our internal escalation processes and procedures.

Tier 3 Technical Support Engineer

The Tier 3 Technical Support Engineer role is responsible for providing 3rd line support remotely to our Customers, as well as acting as a point of escalation for Tier 1 & 2 Technical Support Engineers.

You will be the highest point of technical escalation on the Service Desk following escalation through the relevant support channels within the Service Desk. Working with the Service Leads to ensure no stone goes unturned when resolving a customer issue.

Tier 1 Technical Support Engineer

As a Tier 1 Technical Support Engineer, you’ll be part of the key functions within the Managed Service department. You will join the team in enabling the delivery of a high-quality service to end users, and ensuring Service Support and Service Delivery processes are in place to meet business needs.

Modern workplace consultant

The role of Modern Workplace Consultant is to support all areas of the business’s clients, defining, designing and implementing new technical solutions for clients and potential clients, onboarding new infrastructure solutions with either internal, 848 or 3rd party support teams, and an escalation for the managed services team supporting existing clients (second and third line) to remediate complex technical customer problems.

Networking Practice Lead/Architect

The role of Practice Lead is to develop and manage the networking practice within 848 Consulting. This includes defining, designing and implementing new technical solutions for clients and potential clients, onboarding new network infrastructure solutions with either internal, 848 or 3rd party support teams, and an escalation for the consulting practices. 

Service Integration Lead

We’re looking for a technically strong individual to join the 848 team as Service Integration Lead. You will be working across the technical environment focusing on Google G Suite and providing 2nd line and 3rd line support.  You will engage with and provide support for Microsoft Cloud-based technologies including Microsoft Azure and Office 365 as well as Unifi networking, Cisco Meraki and other network technologies. A key role responsibility is to be the technical expert for the 848 Managed Service department. You will lead and manage the group and deal with technical queries across the 848-customer estates.
