The 848 Group has been awarded a place on the Crown Commercial Service (CCS) Digital Outcomes 6 framework. This is a valuable framework for organisations in the public sector to find and work with trusted digital services and skills providers. The aim is to ensure positive digital outcomes and transformations are achieved in the UK public sector.
Organisations such as the NHS, government, and police can utilise Digital Outcomes 6 to discover approved suppliers to work on digital services and projects. For example, the creation of an NHS booking system, or the development of security plans to protect digital assets. With a diverse team of IT specialists, 848 can offer a wide range of support, from security services to development and agile delivery.
Digital Outcomes 6 will replace the Digital Outcomes and Specialists 5 framework, which (after a yearlong extension) will end on the 19th of January 2023. The 6th iteration of the framework will launch later this summer, meaning there will be a slight overlap between the two.
Delivering value to the public sector
848 earned a place on the existing the Digital Outcomes and Specialists 5 framework, and will continue to offer meaningful digital services after earning a place on the new Digital Outcomes iteration. To achieve a place on Digital Outcomes, the business had to pass the rigorous vetting and review process as outlined by CCS. This process ensures public sectors buyers purchasing via the Digital Marketplace will only be working with suppliers deemed to be both dependable and complaint.
Earning a spot on the framework validates 848’s continued dedication to providing reliable and value-added services and solutions to organisations across the UK.

Digital Outcomes 6 vs Digital Outcomes and Specialists 5
CCS has made some changes to the architecture of the previous Digital Outcomes and Specialists 5 framework, separating it into two new standalone structures. Lot 2 (Specialists) has been removed, and instead will be its own standalone framework named Digital Specialists and Programmes. This will be separate in the Digital Marketplace, where Digital Outcomes 6 will also be hosted. The changes to the Digital Outcomes frameworks have been made to make decision making processes easier for buyers.
