Service Delivery Manager (MSP)

The Service Delivery Manager is aligned to a portfolio of customers, to ensure the provision of outsourced services across IT operations, infrastructure, and end user services.

We are seeking an ITIL accredited Service Delivery Manager, with proven experience gained working for an IT managed services provider.

Key areas of responsibility include:

  • Microsoft licensing reporting and recommendation
  • Azure consumption
  • Managing expectations and identifying high-level objectives
  • Service management
  • Service reviews & monthly reporting
  • Service transition (Client on-boarding)
  • Service remediation, and pro-active analysis

Requirements:

  • Clear understanding of Microsoft licensing and Azure
  • Minimum of 3 years’ experience within the IT sector
  • Minimum of 3 years’ Service Desk Management experience
  • Technical experience and knowledge of Cloud products, NOC and infrastructure
  • Experience working within a Managed Service Provider (MSP)
  • Excellent verbal and written communication
  • Excellent customer service and problem solving abilities
  • Experience working with supplies and 3rd parties
  • Commercially astute within the IT sector
  • Highly organised, efficient, ability to work autonomously and driven to excel
  • Exceptional Senior-stakeholder and Vendor management skills
  • Well versed in ITIL Framework

 

*ITIL foundation certification highly desirable

The ideal candidate will demonstrate:

  • Experience in IT Operations roles working in an ITIL environment (Preferably from an IT Solutions / Managed Service Provider)
  • Solid skills around Managed Service Delivery, Managed Service Innovation and Managed Service Reporting are highly desirable
  • The client is looking for someone with solid skills in IT Service Management – Processes, Utilization, Frameworks (ITIL etc), Service Improvement Scaling, Change Management, Incident Management
  • If you have worked with or managing Oracle or Microsoft Database Technology please apply – This is highly desirable!
  • IT Services & Change Implementation, Team Management, Supplier Management and Service Management
  • Exceptional Senior-stakeholder and Vendor management skills; Managing expectations and identifying high-level objectives, well versed in ITIL framework
  • Technical background / understanding of tech – Microsoft / O365 / VMware / Azure / Networking / Firewalls
