The 848 Group has appointed new Chief Talent Officer Jocelyn Brown and the services of Talent Build to support continued headcount growth.

IT solutions and managed services provider the 848 Group has employed the services of Talent Build Solutions Ltd to manage recruitment. 848, which delivers IT transformations to businesses across the UK, has experienced increased demand for IT transformations from both new and existing clients. This rising demand has fuelled the need for 848 to recruit and develop both local and national talent.  

The business has more than doubled in headcount over the past 18 months, and now employs more than 80 staff. Bringing Talent Build Solutions on board displays that this growth is set to continue into 2022. 

Jocelyn Brown, who heads up Talent Build, will take the lead on the business’ recruitment drive as the 848 Groups newly appointed Chief Talent Officer. Jocelyn has more than 20 years in recruitment management and consultancy. She has successfully managed and delivered the talent and recruitment strategy for large scale organisations, matching high-quality candidates with technical and specialist roles.  

848 has a Head Office based in Stafford and employs staff from in and around the Staffordshire area as well as throughout the rest of the UK. The business has long been an adopter of a flexible working model, and staff work on a remote or hybrid basis. Jocelyn and Talent Build will be at heart of 848’s ongoing recruitment drive, seeking out talent from all areas of the country to join the growing team.
