Supporting a Government-Backed Clean Energy Development
Our team is working on a number of exciting projects at the moment, supporting clients in delivering Net Zero goals and industry-specific innovation.
848 is currently delivering a digital transformation programme for a ground-breaking green energy development. The client is developing a clean energy solution built on nuclear technology to address the urgent global need for low carbon energy. Our team is playing a major role in the project; designing, building, and providing the IT services and cloud-first infrastructure that underpins the development. We are proud to support this client in creating a solution to deliver sustainable, scalable, and affordable nuclear power across the globe.
Our team are also delivering a large-scale Microsoft migration to a multi-national client operating in the securities finance industry. The migration away from Google and to Microsoft 365 includes the design, build and implementation of a new modern workspace environment that will enable secure remote access and collaboration for the 13,000+ end users.
Always Evolving Services
To address evolving client demands and environments, the team are constantly making changes to enhance the deliverables and outcomes for those utilising our managed IT support services. Rory Kilpatrick is moving across to lead IT service development in the managed services practice, working in collaboration with Head of Managed Services, Fraser Scott.
Fraser has been heading up managed services at 848 for nearly 3 years, while Rory joined in 848 in March this year to lead the implementation of our ServiceNow platform and practice. Prior to this, he was the Head of Technology and Innovation at Ricoh Europe.
Rory has brought this experience to 848 to add value to our clients and ensure services are meeting their changing needs. With ServiceNow set up and running, we’re delivering valuable support services to thousands of users across the UK and beyond, underpinned by the leading ITSM platform.
Expanding Partnerships
We’re delighted to expand our partnerships to Dubai, as we recently announced our new partnership with Insight Plum. This company is a specialist provider of procurement technology, services, and skills, with a global HQ in Dubai Silicon Oasis. As a Microsoft Gold Partner, 848 will be working with Insight Plum to deliver valuable cloud services and licenses to clients in Dubai and the rest of the UAE, extending our ability toad value to clients in new ways across the globe.
